born of bladed tongue and child of Yemonjá, ash is a multidisciplinary artist
with an emphasis on afro-surrealism, hoodoo conjure, and Black feminist
theory. they are of Ghanaian and Native origin(s), born on Nisqually and
Squaxin ancestral lands. ash is a rootworker, devoted to the teachings of
Audre Lorde, Zora Neale Hurston, and Toni Morrison—just to name a few. she
is a talented and skilled healer with 6+ years of experience in tarot and oracle
readings, alongside energy-work. by nature, she is a channel and her clients
describe her as: “powerful.” ash wields her gifts in a traditional sense through
teaching the youth, performing poetry/music, organizing events, and
